如何帮助孩子选择好书

白天班上忙，晚上家里忙；Weekdays忙厨房，Weekends忙后院。原本设计，孩子们读的每一本书都要经过我的censorship, 但现在发现越来越难。这些小东西读起来书忒快，一两天一本。
诸位兄弟姐妹，我们要不要成立一个联合审查机构 - 推荐你们孩子读过的好书。这样我们不至于被他们追得连滚带爬。哈哈哈。

6．最近读完一本书，觉得不错，推荐给大家。

  • 书名：Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
  • 作者：Jamie Ford
  • 适合年龄：adults
  • 适合男孩，or 女孩？：both
  • 内容简介：本书讲述了两个第二代移民的日本女孩Keiko和中国男孩Henry在二战时期的爱情故事（不是露骨的那种）。书中涉及到的作为第一代移民的Henry的父亲的许多做法，想法很值得我们好好琢磨琢磨。

My son is very impressed by the episode when the School Panel interviewed Sylvia for the admission. And it is good time for our parents to talk about the races with kids with the help of this book.

俺常常带小孩去图书馆，一般他们挑自己喜欢的书，好像还没有发现啥儿童不宜的东东。蝴蝶说得对，图书馆推荐的reading list挺好的。俺家小孩的学校也给过reading list，刚才没找了找没找到。等找到了俺再贴上来。		无名小卒♀2010-05-24 17:23:59
1．我发现图书馆提供的reading list 都不错， 有时可以把年龄往前挪挪， 反正因人而异。 有时图书馆员也会给一些建议。 有时大人的建议不会被采纳， 孩子们更愿意 in line with what ever their friends are reading, right ? 蝴蝶♀2010-05-24 16:50:15
