微网是个多维的文化艺术网站，之所以如此定义是因为网客们被它的文化艺术内容吸引二来。或创作、点评、讨论、争论，百花齐放，百家争鸣。文化包括琴、棋、书、画、天时、地利、人和，艺术涉及音乐、诗歌、散文、朗诵、摄影、多媒体视频。
As an amateur photographer, talking about photography here, it is only fair to start with talking about WeiFeng's music. Clearly the natural link between music and photography exists in the similarity between two forms of art，i.e. both require creativity and sense of style, and both can be enhanced by applying modern technology.
There is little doubt that WeiFeng's music creation has been benefited from the combination of his creative music mind and his bioengineering background for being able to use the advanced electronic/digital player to compose and perform his music, and to further process the recorded music as multi-channel digital signals, defined in terms of amplitude, frequency and phase, etc. Musician unlikely master computing or signal processing techniques and IT technologists may not be musical. Combining both makes WeiFeng so unique, and such uniqueness induces the attractiveness embedded in his music.
Similarly, good photography is truly a matter of malting the visual art and technology. The art is your creative vision, being able to see the photograph before you actually take it through a camera. The technology is being able to translate that artistic vision into a compiling photograph, and that technology includes knowing how to use your equipment (digital single lens reflection, DSLR) to their full potential, defined in terms of exposure, focus, lens selection, etc.
Furthermore, the latest computing software enables people to easily combine the auditory and visual (AV) presentation into a virtual reality of multi-media and 10 or more dimensions, i.e. length, width, depth, light, colour, time, tone and magnitude, etc. to feed our brain via both the auditory and visual sensors in a synchronised fashion. Of course, as far as the saying goes that 'beauty is in the eyes of beholder - 情人眼里出西施', people's prejudice would affect each individual‘s perception of a certain AV presentation. This is, usually, just a matter that something you have got or you have not. Personal background, knowledge base, and artistic orientation and so on would no doubly influence one’s perception.
老实说，业余创作，并不是创作人没有要求，也不是对创作的内容和形式不予讲究，只是这些人大多散漫惯了，信马游缰的想溜号就溜号，不遵循“正规训练”，也不指着以创作为生。创作取决于灵感，无论饭前、饭后、半夜、白天。情绪来了，拦都拦不住。版主“我爱微风”就是典型。这恰恰是我们的风格，业余创作不易受任何外界限制，只图能表达创作人的内心。别人欣赏，得意；不欣赏，还是得意的脖子发紧。当然，对待业余爱好，咱是“工作为了生活”，特自由散漫。可是对待咱的本职专业，咱可是“活着为了工作”，兢兢业业，不敢潇洒。我想大家都会这样。
补充：使俺加入了微网的不是歌曲“妈呀!中国”，而是夜里睡不着的一曲《雨夜思》。情不自禁，抓来创作了配乐影集四季歌的第一集《秋色满园》，试图用秋景来视觉再现《雨夜思》。不懂乐理，没误感觉，得到“我爱微风”的赞赏。从此，一发不可收拾。曲是他弹在一个雨夜，这思却成了俺无尽的畅想。大概这就是这支音乐的神奇魅力所在。
